Yep. For a year and half in 2011.  We’ve been together 6 years and married for 1!  He’s my best friend and the distance made us so much stronger.

Yup! My husband and I were long distance for 6.5 years. We moved in together at 6.5 years and married on our 7th anniversary. We are now celebrating 10 years together, 3 years married, 2 babies, own our own vehicles and just downsized from 4 to 2, we bought a house, land, debt free, we're getting solar panels, homesteading, and starting homeschooling next year with preschool for our oldest! We're in the middle of a kitchen reno, getting solar next month, getting a fence for our land next year, might be getting a purebred aussie for free from a family friend who does ethical breeding, and we're looking into starting 2 businesses.  
We're living our best life and honestly it feels like a fairytale. My husband saved my life the night we met, saved my life multiple times over the years, and finally gave me a safe home for the first time in my life. Being long distance for so long really strengthened our relationship, taught us many lessons, and we are amazing with communication due to the distance we had.
