Travelling & using a cup...

I hope somebody can give me any tips, because its driving me insane 😭 I'm currently backpacking through asia, and ofcourse mother nature still comes to visit one week every month... I have 2 different cups, one is quit big (still size small) and stiff, and the other one is smaller and quit flexible. They both dont seem to work for me... The smaller one doesn't unfold most of the times, so it gets quit messy, and the bigger one keeps hurting, not really painfull but definatelly not comfortable. Does someone have advice maybe on wich one to use or what to do, because I HATE having to use pads here, and with the toiletsituation here tampons can be quit difficult..
