Living with husband parents 😕

Hi y'all

It's been 3 yrs post marriage and I still live with my husbands parents . we have the 3rd floor of brownstone house and they live on the 1st floor. Now that we have baby it's convenient for us since they are right downstairs to babysit her. But ever since she's been born , I feel like we get less privacy and his family is always walking in and out of our floor.

But I've been wanting to move out since after wedding. I thought we would be there temporarily until we find something: my husband keeps discouraging me to move out since we have baby and houses in NY or apartments are so expensive . But wtf!! I don't want to be stuck with your family forever!!

We are saving money to move out but it looks like it may be a while till we save enough. He doesn't have a high paying job. I make more then him. He always tells me well if I want to live out why don't I start the process and pay for the costs.

I'm just upset that he won't make the necessary moves to get us out of his family's house. He's content with where he is.

Advice anyone?
