What to do

There is this guy that I like, named Nathaniel. I've been friends with him since 8th grade and now we are in the same high school. In 8th grade, near the end of the year, I started liking him but, he liked one of my friends Rachel who I have known since 6th grade. Her and I aren't close, we don't even talk at all, but we know each other and will say hi to each other. Anyway, I always helped them get together and they still aren't dating but they are basically without a label. I'm sorry if that's confusing😂 So, him and I are friends and I feel like I could tell him anything. One time at school, I was sad and I just wasn't having a good day. He noticed. He also tried to make things better. We can laugh together and make jokes and sometimes we "flirt" and hug. But, he doesn't like me. I didn't ask him but I'm pretty sure we are just friends. I just want to tell him but I don't want to ruin his happiness. My happiness is important too but I don't want to make things complicated and ruin things for him and Rachel. What should I do? I'm honestly not trying to date but, I've liked him for 3 months so far. I'm trying to focus on school and become valedictorian when I graduate. It's just something I want to get off my chest. What should I do?
