How do you know when it's over?

Hi everyone! i've been dating my boyfriend since February. He is incredibly sweet and used to do very cute things for me just to make me smile. always called me beautiful and such. I love him with all my heart and he's told me multiple times that he can't wait to marry me, etc. We are in a LDR since March however and i feel like the distance is getting to us. He rarely has time to talk anymore because of work. I know he loves me a lot but he doesn't make me feel as wanted as I used to feel and sometimes i feel very insecure ahout it. I want to be with this man and work things out but I also have been told my friends that if hes the right guy for me, he wouldn't stop being super sweet and he'd always make me feel wanted. But i just don't think that's the way it is in the real world where people have jobs and are busy with other things. What do you think? 
I'm 18 btw and he's 24.

I think LDR are very hard and sometimes it's annoying and unrealistic to always be on the phone or worrying about your partner when you've got a life to live. It's not that you don't love the person it's just easier to focus on what's in front of you like work to distract you from missing the person. What are your expectations of him? I think a good morning text, random check ins and a good night phone call is an acceptable day in LDR with a FaceTime here or there through the week to see each other. How often do you meet in person?

We've been together 10 years. We have 3 kids. We have careers. We work opposite shifts. My husband has never ever stopped making me feel wanted.

If you have to ask if he's the one, he's not. It's that simple. When it's the right person, you know it and it works.

I'm in a ldr too and girl I understand you so much. There was a moment I wouldn't feel wanted by my boyfriend and it would make me think we were getting distant. Actually he was busy and I just had to understand it. But I told him and he would do what he could to keep in touch. I'd tell you to speak to him about it and tell how you feel.
