Too much milk? Overfeeding?
Ok, no mean comments..but everyone told us you can't overfeed a baby. The thing is, our little one is doing sporadic, short feeds which seem to simply be for comfort, in addition to full feeds every 2-3 hours. She's already gained back her birth weight in a week!
We've done a little research and are now thinking of using a pacifier again. So far, it's worked to calm her (of course after everything else and only in some cases) instead of a 2 minute additional feed. My question is...has anyone heard of oveefeeding if you produce too much he milk? We read that a lot of milk production can rob them of the calming "just sucking" feeling at the end of feeds. What have you heard about overfeedinf, comforting, and pacifiers?
