50 Years of Research and 160,000 children, studies confirm that spanking not only doesn't work, but causes harm. This is simply what this extremely broad, long term study has shown. Take this however you like, but "well I turned out fine!" is a bit less powerful then such encompassing findings.

I would just encourage people to listen and look into these kinds of studies done by thousands of professionals rather than relying on their personal opinions.
