Is he considered my ex? 🤔

We were never official but we just talk at that time. But we aren't talking to anyone else and go on dates together. We've had sex too and have said "I love you" to each other.

But he never asked me out but I ended it because I was getting bored of him. When people talk they always refer him as my ex but idk if he's really my ex or not?
