is it too soon?

I got my confirmation from the Dr and now all I can do is look at baby stuff and how I want to decorate the nursery. I know it's too soon but I can't help it I just want to buy everything. how soon is too soon? when did you guys start buying things? its also mother and baby event in asda which isn't helping haha xxx

We started while we were still ttc. I'm 11w4d now and we have a pram, crib, newborn cloth diaper stash, area rug, cube shelf, Tula ftg, Lillebaby Embossed, Lillebaby Organic, and a couple baby outfits. This is our 3rd *but starting over with everything) and first baby we will be waiting until the birth to find out the sex. I have almost all the nursery planned out as far as color schemes, bedding and some decor.

I started immediately because to me, it's putting it out in the  universe that the child or children will be in your home. I bought a few onesie and they hang in our closet. Looking at it each day feels the room with positive thoughts and feelings

I've been buying clothes and little things from 6 weeks when I had my first scan, at 13 weeks we bought a cot, going to leave it at that now till we find out the gender next month.

I downloaded Pinterest and made baby boards each time! It helped me feel like I was preparing and straighten out what I really wanted without me actually buying anything yet! It's very therapeutic! I had 5 losses so I know the fear and the desire to want to not live in fear. I have three healthy boys and am 20 weeks along with my precious princess but between my first and second was a loss between my second and third was three losses and with my girl I had a blighted ovum/vanishing twin that had to be monitored via ultrasound for a few weeks to see how my body handled it. Hang in there! But seriously Pinterest is my therapy!

With my daughter we started as soon as we knew her gender.  This one we might buy a few clothes but we don't have room new nursery stuff so those will wait until after baby is here.

I'm more cautious than most. My sister has had multiple miscarriages, so I was fearful of all of the what ifs. We didn't buy a single thing until after 25 weeks.
