Do you think a teacher can't teach children if they have never had one? Do you think a psychiatrist can treat an illness if they have never had it? Do you think a professional nanny can raise your child if they can't have any?

I don't need a child to know that letting said child run around inside a moving vehicle unrestrained is a stupid parenting choice. Just one such example. There is much gray area in your question.

Everyone here has been a child at one point yes? Then they have experience with children. Then they have some level of knowledge on what may or may not be good for children. No matter how insignificant it may be, the topic applies to everyone for that reason alone, as well as any other experience a person has had with children. The answer is yes.

Yes. There are plenty of people who have early childhood education background, nanny experience, etc. Of course nothing is the same as having your own but there are certain things that they would know anyway.

Obviously. You don't have to be a parent to have the common sense that abusing a child is wrong. And hell yes I will judge you for hitting your child. If I know who you are, I will shamelessly call dcf on you. I've done it in the past and I'd do it again.

I think people have the right to think or say whatever they want. Whether or not they should, is another matter. There are some issues that you can clearly judge without having to have any experience with children. Abuse, for example. There are some things people who do not have a lot of experience in the direct care of children may incorrectly judge, but there are also situations that can be judged solely based on lie experience or common sense.

No one should be judging any parenting skills unless the child is being ACTUALLY abused.

If you are physically harming or doing something bad to affect your child, anyone can say something. Teachers discipline kids all of the time, even if they don't have one. Now, if you have children or not, be careful what you day because you don't always know what is best for the child
