Breastfeeding with teeth

I'm struggling here! My daughter is 8 months and exclusively breastfed. She just got her first sharp tooth and it hurts! She doesn't really bite while nursing but she keeps her jaw tight, not wide open and I can feel her tooth. Besides seeing a lactation consultant, how can I break this habit? She latched fine before her tooth. But now it's a shallow latch 😩 Any experiencing with teeth and breastfeeding?
