I've asked him when we first broke up three times if he wanted it back but he kept saying no this was months ago I haven't spoken to him in months and every time I look at the jewelry box and see the earrings it makes me feel warm inside but things ended really badly with him do I keep them ?

when I was in my first relationship (head over heels thought I'd marry him) I really wanted to get another piercing in my ear. I didn't have the money for it or for the jewelry. he went out bought the earrings, and actually pierced them for me. We spilt up a few years later and I took the earring out. the hole is closed up but I still have the earring in my jewelry box. every now and again I come across it and it reminds me of when we were young and stupid kids in love. it's a good feeling every now and again to relive that memory.

I kept a watch my ex gave me. Every time I look at it or wear it it makes me think of him and all the good times we had, even though it did not work out. Plus I wear it as just a beautiful watch, sentimental value aside.
