Is it ok to have hot baths while pregnant?

I love having my baths hot, should I just be having my bath warm. Can a hot bath harm my baby? I'm only very early in pregnancy.

Just don't stay in the hot water for too long.  If you raise your core temperature too much, it could harm the baby...it's also suggested you don't go in hot tubs.

Yes it's okay. The water doesn't stay the same temperature the whole time. You have to avoid hot tubs though.

It's not the temperature of the water that's harmful, it's if it's hot enough to raise your core temperature. If you're sweating and you come out red as a lobster it's too hot

Unfortunately you probably shouldn't have super hot baths, and no hot tubs. Raising your core temp much can be harmful... it's annoying

How hot are we talking? It's not ok to elevate your body temperature for too long. If it's hot tub heat no you should cool it down.

You just can't let you core temp exceed 102. You can definitely still take hot baths, you'd have to be in there a while at a consistently hot temp to reach 102 core temp.

I take warm baths and once it gets cold I add hot water which just makes it warm again. Never use hot hot water. I put my feet in a hot tub for 3-5 mins because they hurt but only to the shin. I don't want to boil my baby.
