Can anyone else smell their period?

When I'm on my period, there's a certain smell when I'm sitting cross-legged or crouching... I swear I'm taking care of myself and I'm being hygienic, but I always kinda wonder/worry if anyone else can smell it, or smell their own period? Please comment!

I used to but it stopped when I started using my menstrual cup. I think it has a lot to do with using hygiene products  that hold it, rather than your personal hygiene. Also, I agree with previous poster, you can probably smell yours because your consciousness of it but no one around you can smell it.

I used to smell it but ever since I started using my Diva cup, it's stopped. Your period blood doesn't smell when it's inside, it's when it hits oxygen that the smell happens. So because the cup holds it in, there's no smell at all, and it's crazy because you'll be about to tell if you hold the little cup that after a few seconds it'll start getting that smell.

I have a really sensitive nose and tend to smell when another girl is on her period but it's not always a bad smell. Every vagina has a natural smell and for some reason I can usually smell it when a person walks past me.

I have asked other people close to me though and they all say they can't smell it. Your sense of smell is stronger to that for some reason.
