Birth Plan FTM

I have been giving some thought to how I would like my L&D; to go but actually writing it out has been making me feel a little anxious and out of control of something I am trying to control... if that makes sense?

There is so much detail that goes into a birth plan I would have never imagined it would be even the slightest bit difficult. I have been looking over some templates and some websites online, but they all seem different and some go into more detail than others. I'm afraid I might miss something important that I want to include. Is there an easier way to do this or am I just giving this all too much thought? I only want what I feel is best for me and my baby.

Does or can my OB go over a birth plan with me at one of my 3rd trimester appointments? They gave me all my pre registration info for the hospital I will be delivering at but have not mentioned anything about a birth plan.

I do know some things could always be out of my control but I would like to have some sort of plan for me to feel comfortable with my whole labor& delivery.
