Anyone else experienced this?

So I've stopped taking my BC nuvaring yesterday! I was experiencing brown discharge and a little red. Me and my bf tried to have sex today and as he put it in and took it out I started bleeding red blood. We stopped and I put in a tampon, a couple hours of having it in I took it out and it was barely anything on there 😐 - has this happened to anyone going off any form of BC?
