41% voted yes? What a joke honestly it's infuriating. 
I nearly lost the love of my life and my lil brother because of text driving. And i've lost count of how many time i got stuck behind a car at a red light with the driver too busy texting, not even aware of oncoming pedestrians. 
You need to use google map or make phone calls? Have your phone mounted in. 
You need to send an urgent text? Pull over and stop making excuses.

No but I use google maps. I don't type or anything I just glance at the map.

I got in a car accident less than a month ago because the driver was texting. After I asked him not to.

I really can't believe all the people saying yes. You should never use your phone for any reason while driving. Pull over if you have to. I've had several people almost wreck into me because of their damn phones and I have my baby in the backseat. I swear its going to get ugly if any one wrecks into my car because of their phone. Especially if my boy gets hurt. People's lives should be way more important.

I text at red lights and if I'm driving on a really familiar road with not a lot of other people around like late at night or something I will text but I pay more attention to the road and keep it short I know it's still not okay but sometimes you gotta send a quick text
