Clomid messing me up

I need some advice...or reassurance...

I ovulate every month around Cd 12/13. This month I started my first round of clomid- the dr wanted to try it to see if I produce a healthier egg. I am on cycle day 13 and I haven't ovulated yet. So questions-

1. Does Clomid delay ovulation?

2. I don't even have a faint second line on my opk. Of my surge is coming soonish shouldn't there be a second line that progressively gets darker? I've always had 2, now only the control line.
