Error test?

Hello,

So tomorrow is my expected day for aunt flow. I couldn't help myself so I tested. I put 3 drops as per instructions and set my timer for three minutes. I went back and it looked as if there wasn't enough urine. So I added two more drops reset the timer. I came back and it's positive. My question is, is the test invalid. I can't do another test as I don't have anymore at home. I will have to buy some later today. So what do you think positive or invalid?
