Baby registry question?

I'm making registries on Amazon and Target do I put my most wanted items on both lists or only one? Also has amazon ever mistakenly told you someone bought a gift off of your registry? Yesterday I got an email saying that someone bought something of my registry and it is being sent to me but nothing appears to be purchased!

I got that same email yesterday and was so confused because my registry was private. I'm only doing the amazon registry.

i put stuff on a babies r us registry and amazon. i basically went down my list of stuff and put it on the registry that had the item for cheaper.

I added everything I wanted from every store to one "master list" on Babylist.com. 
You make a master registry and add anything and everything from any store. When people look at the website, they'll see what the item is, what store it's from, and if there's a store that has it for cheaper. :)
