Not sure if any of you can relate, but everytime me and my bf have sex he grips me really hard to the point where i bruise like this. I'm not posting this to make it seem like he abuses me because he's such a sweetheart and respects me. Its just that when we're in the moment i don't even realize it until after when i start hurting. He grabs me before we get it on and i tell him it hurts and he doesn't listen. With this bruise i feel like it's enough and i don't know how to approach the situation bc i dont want him to take it wrong. I just really need a put an end to end, and he bites me and i also bruise on my cheeks, neck, etc and my parents get really mad. Im afraid that they'll see this bc hell will break loose. Fyi he's a real sweetheart, he never disrespects me, and wont ever lay his hands on me. So dont think he's hitting me.

I'm not sure it's abuse, just sit down and have a serious talk with him. 'Hey, you're being too rough with me during sex, id really like it if you'd be more gentle, you're hurting me' 
If he purposely ignores it, then it's abuse. Maybe he's just unaware he's being too rough

That is abuse. If you tell him he's being to rough and he still does it that's abuse. Those are quite some bruises you have there. That is not ok. Your parents have every right to be worried. You need to have a serious conversation with him. This can not continue. it’s not abuse unless you have already had a serious sit down talk and told him he is being too rough and needs to rein it in. if he continues after that knowingly, then it becomes abuse.

I don't think it's abuse because it's not meant with anger but it's still not ok. That's a terrible bruise, honey. It's time for a serious with him and maybe come up with safe words for in the moment.
