When I was 9 I fell in with the wrong crowd and I discovered Porn and masturbation. Now im 17 and i still have trouble with trying to sto masturbating. I want to stop because I have been told it is a sin and I want to go to heaven so I dont want to keep doing things that I know are wrong. So I just wanted to know what is yall perception on masturbation, is it a sin?

It is a sin, but just because you slip up does not mean you will not go to heaven. Around 11, a friend introduced me to porn, and I became a porn addict. I still struggle, but it is also mind over matter. What helps me is to not allow myself to give in to the urge. There will be slip ups, but it gets easier.

it is only a sin if you are listing after someone/s. If you masturbate to just masturbate then that's not a sin. The sin itself would be the lust deep in your heart towards someone else.
