Anyone else’s babies not care for pacifiers?

Mine only sucks on it if I hold it in his mouth otherwise after a minute or less it falls out of his mouth! He obviously likes the sucking he just can’t keep it into his mouth

My baby hates them lol. She would rather suck on my finger to be honest. She will scream and cry with a pacifier once she realizes no milk is coming out lol but with my finger she will go to town!

My son is super gaggy! We tried different shapes and sizes and they all make him gag (he even gags on my nipple sometimes and struggles to take a bottle) We could occasionally get him to take it for a minute or so then it'd fall out and he'd start gagging again when we'd try and put it in. We've given up 😐 he likes to use my boob as a dummy sometimes then gets annoyed if I have a let down 😅

My baby doesn’t really like them! She will only take one when she’s half asleep and still spits it out eventually.

Mine wouldn't until we realized there were different sizes 🙄 (FTM) the one we were trying to give her was 0-3, and the one she FINALLY took was a newborn.

My daughter will only take a pacifier from her dad, if I’m holding her she spits it out and wants the breast lol.

Put a little breast milk on the nipple before offering it. It helps them get a deeper suck. I try to only do it when I know she is full and just needs to suckle for comfort. Saves my boobs from constant sucking.

My baby doesn’t care for it either I have to hold it for him otherwise he spits it out so I just gave up. At least I won’t have to deal with taking it away when he’s older
