Do you regret getting a DNA blood test?

Question

I'm considering the non-invasive DNA blood test at 12 weeks. 
Has anyone here had it?
Are you glad you got it?
I'm afraid that the results will make me worry unnecessarily. 
What if they tell me my baby has a 50% chance of something and they turn out fine and I worried for nothing?
I NEED ADVICE!

I know this is not something everyone likes to talk about,  but we had it so we could consider having an abortion if there were any chromosomal abnormalities, depending on the severity of them.  If you would keep the baby either way,  then don't have it and worry yourself out.  Thankfully for us,  baby is healthy.

I was going to get it, but instead baby didnt cooperate for the ultrasound they do before so I wasn't able to do the blood test. At 16 weeks I'll have the QUAD test done which is more accurate anyways :)

I thought about doing it purely to find out what the genders where. But neither one of us has any genetic abnormalities in the family and honestly if it came back as a good chance for Down syndrome we didn't really care about that. So I opted not to take it since anything our kids inherit will more then likely be thyroid issues since my husband and I both have them and they run heavily in both sides of our family. I'm kind of glad I didn't get it done because even though they tell you your child has a chance to have something a good chunk of the time it doesn't end up happening and you stressed out about it for nothing.

I had the CVS test at 13 weeks because I am a carrier for Cystic Fibrosis.  The test revealed my daughter is also a carrier for Cystic Fibrosis, so we both carry that same genetic mutation.  
It was expensive, but I did this for the disorder part of things.  I'm not sure if insurance covered it or not.  Never got the bill yet.  If it is just for diagnosing the gender, you could always wait a few weeks, but my generi test revealed the sex of the baby with the chromosomal makeup, so I found out I was having a girl at 13 weeks.  So happy!
