Did you tell your husband right away when finding out your pregnant? Opinions please! (:

I just found out I am pregnant! My husband wants to be a dad so bad.. we got lucky, only been trying a couple months. But his birthday is in November! That would be the best present I could give him. So I'm thinking about waiting to tell him till then. Of course I may not be able to pull that off! What is your opinion on this?!

If it was a week or so til his birthday I'd say wait, but November seems too long. I'd worry that he'd feel left out of the beginning stages. And I'd want him to know and spoil me a little ;)

I’d still do it as a birthday gift, but make it sooner. You could just “lie” and say you ordered a really special gift but it came earlier than expected so he needs to open it now.

He'll still be surprised when you tell him immediately also. The longest I waited was until he woke up. So much goes on in the first couple months. You're partners and to me, it's lying by omission which is a big no no in my relationship.

I took it the morning before he left for work, and I told myself I wouldn't tell him I took it and I'd set up the announcement I planned...
"Pregnant" showed up on the test and I jumped on him in bed 😂😂 I don't regret it lol 😂 I still set up the little "announcement" for him though just because.
