guy advice

me and this one particular guy have a really bad history, he spread a bunch of stuff about me and whatever but he's realllyyyyy attractive. please don't judge me here bc i really don't need it rn but i'm starting to get sucked in again. like he's just started talking to me and we've been talking a lot. i can't seem to remind myself of all the terrible things he's done and what an as* he really is. any advice ?
