I'm due in March, we had childcare arranged but she just backed out. I'm looking at daycare costs and I'm like 😳.
There's a small chance my mom will be able to babysit for way less, but I'm not counting on it.
How much will you be paying?

It depends on where you live really. In Boston, mass you can expect to pay 1800-2400 monthly and that doesn't always include snack or diapers. You can of course find cheaper and more expensive but thats kind of the norm.

My older sister & I made an agreement when she had her first baby (9 years ago) that as long as I help babysit for free she’ll babysit my future kids for free. Now that I have my daughter (my first baby) on the way the agreement still stands. I watch her 4 kids while she works & then she’ll watch my daughter when I need her to.
