I never believed in it...
I felt people could change...
But sometimes the so will always have a temptation you cant tame especially if its more than once. That's the situation my mom is in..I just feel bad for her.

if they have a history of cheating, yes it's true. but some only cheat once and that's it

I don't believe it's true. My first boyfriend cheated on me and treated me poorly so out of revenge, I slept with his best friend while with him. Yes it was a bad thing to do but can't do much about it now 🤷🏼‍♀️
Now I'm with someone who treats me like a queen and is loyal and I am loyal to him. I have never cheated on him and I never will. So I definitely don't believe in that saying. 
The ex who cheated on me has cheated on several of his girlfriends and cheated on his now ex girlfriend who he cheated on me with. So for those girls who are sleeping with married or taken men, if he can cheat with you, he'll cheat on you. 
So I believe my ex will always be a cheater but I only ever did it once and I will never do it again.
