first girl crush/love stories

I recently just started university, and since the very first day I saw all my floormates (move-in day), I have been thinking too much about this one girl. I don't even know her name but I've been getting aches (the good kind, like butterflies) in my heart every time I think of her. What started out as a girl crush has progressed into something more than that in just 3 weeks. Before this, I believed I was aromantic because I have never felt this way towards any other person (not even guys), but then she comes into my life and just sends me to an abyss of pure confusion and innocent happiness. I've been dying to become her friend but we don't share any classes and I don't want to come on too strong. She's like a delicate and innocent piece of artwork and I don't want to ruin that. Any advice on what I should do next, or just any story similar to this?
