Iud follow up,still spotting/light period. Should I go?

So I have an iud follow up this week! I'm not necessarily on my period but I am having light to heavy spotting. Seems like it's going away but idk, it's an iud my period could be all Willy wonka for a bit.

I really want to go to my check up because ever since I've had my first period with Skyla my strings are lower...but then again so is my cervix so that's probably why they are lower. Basically what I'm trying to say is I have a follow up that I really want to go to cuz I'm freaking out a bit, but I'm still adjusting to the iud. Is it worth going to or should I just reschedule? It can be difficult to get ahold of the nurses over the phone and ask, they have some kinks they need to work out on there phone service thing
