Thoughts and opinions? Implant take out
I changed to the (arm) implant in June because the pill wasn't regulating my hormones the way it used to, but I still wanted the protection. I know that for most women it takes away periods, but I'd be fine with it not. I'm not so fine with having 2 week long periods. It's only been 4 months, but that's a lot of time to be bleeding. And my headaches have also been getting worse. Did anyone else experience bad reactions in the beginning? Did it get better? How long did that take?
I've also had nausea, sore nipples, and extreme hunger at different times than I normally get it.
I've just started bleeding again, so we'll see how long this period lasts. If it's super long and I get another super long one in October, I may get it taken out when I go home in November. What do you guys think?
I just feel bad because I just got on this thing that's supposed to last for 3 years and there's been some grief with my insurance-so that makes me hesitant to decide to get it taken out.
