How much did you spend on your baby shower

I know this is a personal question and obviously you have a choice to answer or not.

I’m throwing my own baby shower, and my husband and I are pumped! We have no idea what to expect for costs though. My sister offered to through us a shower at her group home, the only reason we’re not is because of the size of her home. So I decided to go with a local organization that works with intellectually disabled adults. They have halls to rent, catering available and decorations such as linens, chair cover, etc to rent. I really like the idea of working with this organization, since my sister is a “member” it feels good to have the money go somewhere I know will be used well.

Anyways, back to my original question, how much did you ladies spend if you had a similar “venue” choice. I have sent an email to the coordinator and am waiting for a reply.
