Am I too big ??

Hello everyone,
I am just over 17 weeks and my mother thinks I am showing to early and that I am too large for one baby. Surely it would have been picked up on an earlier scan?? Do you think I am too big ? Or showing too early ??

Everyone shows differently and at different times. 
The only opinion that you should listen to is your doctor’s.

honestly I'm 13w6d and I'm that big... sooooo... but every one thinks I have twins since my stepdaughter told me I was pregnant with twins a week's before I found out I was pregnant I don't get my first scan until 17 weeks.

Girl you look fine this is me at 13 weeks. So you look fine. I was convinced I was having multiples since I was so big but ultrasounds show only one.

I have struggled with this myself. My mom is VERY small and when she was pregnant with me she didn't show until LITERALLY her 8th month. No one could tell at all and her belly barely got any bigger. 
I'm plus size and my mom is always talking to me about not gaining too much baby weight, and while not trying to, she's hurting my feelings. 
I showed her a pic of my best friend who's at like 24 weeks or so, maybe farther, and she's huge right now, totally normal huge, but she has a condition where she's allergic to the HGC and she throws up so much she's LOST 50 lbs, despite having s very large belly bump and being obviously pregnant. She was saying she's so concerned for her gaining so much weight, even though I told her she's DOWN 50 she doesn't believe me. 
Moms can be hard on us--especially if their pregnancy went differently than ours--without meaning to. 
Your bump is TOTALLY normal and they DEFINITELY can see twins early in the scans. I've seen pics of scans on here at 5 weeks, 6 weeks etc.

Am I too big ??
