Possible miscarriage

So I went to the hospital yesterday because I was cramping and I was bleeding and had a little bit of clots when I wiped and went to the br , I’ve been bleeding off and on like spotting since I found out on the 9th . Well last night she told me that I might be having a possible miscarriage. She said that she needed more blood work to try to figure out if my blood count will go up or if it’s still low .. earlier today I went to the br and had small clots but not a lot and still was bleeding but not a lot , and when I just went to the br I didn’t have any clots when I wiped but still bleeding , but i guess what I am trying to ask is if this has happened to anyone else and they still ended up being pregnant or ya kno .. just a little confused and worried
