not immune to rubella??

hi there. I recently had my first blood tests at my first appointment. everything was fine, except I don't have immunity to rubella. does anyone have experience with this? my doctor told me to stay away from people with fevers about 100.3 and anyone who has a rash. has anyone been told other things? I'm currently almost 8 weeks (thought we were about 9, but ultrasound put us behind a week)

I was told I'm not immune either . But all my doctor told me was that I would have to get a shot after I deliver my baby

You just have to take a little extra precaution when around people so you don't get sick. I don't have an immunity because my immune system didn't notice the vaccine when I took it to create antibodies.

rubella is chicken pox.  If you ever have has the vaccine or the pox your immunity can wear off.  Mine did and I had to get the vaccine again.

You can get a booster shot but not until after baby is born. That is why they told you to stay away with people with fevers.
