Was Hugh Hefner a feminist who led the sexual revolution for women or a misogynist who set women back by exploiting their bodies?
I've seen a lot of debate about Hugh Hefner, as a man, entrepreneur and philanthropist.
Some say he was a feminist who led the sexual revolution for women, employed women and paid them more than their male counterparts, believed in and donated to liberal causes and donated to countless charities and worked with conservation efforts for endangered species.
Some say he was a misogynist who exploited women and helped to create a culture of sexual exploitation and men who view women as sexual objects.
