I put my foot down ! 😠

I was sick of being in a “situationship” with my ex. We have been broken up about 4 months and even though we technically don’t live together anymore , he still stays over every single night , has breakfast and dinner prepared every day, gets cleaned up after and gets sexed whenever he wants.... but when we go out he wants to make it clear we aren’t together and wants us paying on separate tabs ??

I finally told him today that my treatment towards MY MAN is to make him feel like royalty and if he didn’t want to be with me, he didn’t deserve that treatment from me. I told him I love him to death but I’m not gonna continue acting like everything is all good just so down the road he can be like “oh well we weren’t technically together so...” but in the mean time get everything you would in a relationship? Nope im done being stupid.

I normally cry when we argue but today I looked him straight in the eyes and said I’m done with it. Either be with me and we’ll look past everything, or grab your stuff and go and we’ll go our separate ways. Simple. I also asked him to sign over the title of the car and it looked like he’d seen a ghost.

I’m so proud of myself. I never thought I’d have the courage to stand up for myself.
