Sleeping on couch..

My boyfriend falls asleep on the couch every night and will come into bed about 1 or 2 AM.. I try to wake him up he won't wake up, or if I go to bed before he is asleep he says he's gonna come up... last night I laid in bed for half hour when I looked over the banister he was not even facing the tv covered up trying to fall asleep.. he got pissed when I asked him why he said he was going to finish the movie then come up if he is just gonna close his eyes and try to sleep there?? Anyone know how to deal with this.. I'm sick of sleeping alone every night, and not to mention the lack of sex due to no intimate time in bed together
