Cleft lip

So I had an ultrasound , the dr at the general hospital thought he saw cleft lip. Had to do an amnio test. And an MRI. The amnio came back perfect and they couldn't see the cleft in the MRI, now , at 29 weeks they tell me my baby boy has a cleft lip. 100%.. they aren't sure about the palate . They told me that, if he has the palate as well they will operate as soon as birth, if it's just the cleft lip, as soon as 3 weeks old , is this true ? Is it only one surgery? Someone that can relate please help me out . I'm heart broken. I know cleft isn't the worst thing in the world. And my baby boy is going to be handsome as ever ! And I will love him no matter what.💙💙
