What does cm look like before BFP?

Hi all me and my partner r trying to conceive and for the first time this month I have a hell of a lot of thick white/tint of yellow cm in my knickers! No BFP yet but I'm not totally sure how long my cycles are due to irregular periods! Could this be a good sign of pregnancy? Thanks in advance xx
