Is my mom crazy?

So my grandma called me last night saying that she wanted to buy my crib for me. I told my mom it was on my registry and if she can help my grandma purchase it since she doesn't know how all that works. Well she proceeded to tell me that the crib I got was only for girls because it's white. It really made me angry because she kept repeating it no matter what I said. Am I wrong or are white cribs only for girls?!
