I got six positives one one of those cheap blue dye tests, all showed up in the time frame, all were relatively dark, and I was not pregnant.

False positives are basically evap lines. Also, if someone gets a faint positive and then a negative and AF starts, it could have been a chemical pregnancy and the test was legitimately positive. But there's really no way of knowing that's the case without blood work. Overall, false positives are just due runs or an issue with the test.
