Bbt newbie

I'm going to start trying bbt charting this cycle in addition to the OPKs I already use. Starting 3-5 days after ovulation I'm suppose to start progesterone suppositories twice a day. I don't fully understand bbt but I know progesterone can increase your temp. Will me taking the suppositories affect my bbt? Won't they increase anyway until the suppositories are stopped? Thanks
