4weeks PP period?

I have had little to no bleeding since I got home from the hospital & 4 weeks later I had a little bit of back pain & this morning woke up crampy as hell but doesn't feel much like period cramps & it hurts so bad and sometimes shooting pains & when I go to the bathroom I'm bleeding and when I wipe there's red blood but there is nothing on my pad. Is it the start of my period or do you think it could be something else? I am not breastfeeding and had no tear or anything.
