doctor necessary?

starting Friday, I woke up with an awful headache and stomachache. throughout the past 3 days, I've been having diarrhea nonstop, ranging in colors, but since this morning its been bloody. I've also had the chills and hot&cold; flashes, and I'm thinking it could be the stomach flu. but with there being blood in my stool, is it wise to go to the doctor, or do you think they'd just give me medicine and send me on my way? my husband thinks that's what they'll do but I believe I should go. what are your opinions. halp plz 😭
