Closed cervix

So this weekend was mine and my husband's 3 year anniversary and we went on a weekend getaway and had sex both Friday and Saturday. My ovulation just started Thursday but Friday and Saturday my cervix was open and had good abundant egg white CM. Well this morning when I checked my cervix was closed up tight with very little sticky CM. I should still have several days left of ovulation time. Anyone else ever had this happen? I've been tracking my cycles for over a year now and my cervix has never closed this early.
