Anyone else think about your parents and the future?

I worry about what's going to happen to them when they get really old and how I'm going to have to handle it.
My parents are divorced and my mom is in California and my dad is in Texas. I hope it's not until years later that we have to worry about them.

My parents are still married and are 62 and 59. I'm always thinking about the future with them. I know it's going to sound bad, but I really hope my Dad goes before my Mom. My Mom is a stong woman and would be able to handle the death of my Dad. My Dad, on the other hand, is an alcoholic. I worry that if my Mom were to pass before him, he'd drink himself to death.

My parents are in their 50s so I don't worry about them that much. My grandparents are in their 70s so I definitely worry about them more
