Castor Oil For Infertility

I was wondering if anyone has been successful for castor oil with blocked tubes. Four years ago my appendix ruptured, and I read that can cause scar tissue in the fallopian tubes. My husband and I have been trying to conceive our first child for 3 years now. We don't want to go to the doctor just yet, we want to try everything we can at home first. I have done quite a bit of research about castor oil and ordered some. I just wanted to know if it's worked for anyone on here.
