Has any one tried the ring test?

It's an old wives tale that if you take a ring on a string or strand of hair and dangle it over your belly if it goes in circles you're having a girl of it swings back and forth it's a boy

I just dit it after reading this. I did it 4 times and got different things. 
1- boy 
2- girl
3- boy 
4- girl
So I’m not sure but one of these are going be right 😂

My sisters friends did it for her a few times when she was pregnant, always said boy, it  was definitely wrong.

I did it over the belly with my own ring and I've consistantly got circling, which I've read means a girl! I've also hear from a friend who recently had a baby that faster heart rate means a girl, and her son was bigger than my baby when she got her first ultrasound. So we'll see!!

I did and it was correct. As well as someone else I know who is due in April, hers was correct too. I heard you have to do it with a mans wedding band.
