How much did you spend on your miscarriage?

I have health insurance through my employer. I have had two ultrasounds in two weeks and going for another one tomorrow. I also had blood tests every few days. This is because no heartbeat was ever found on my ultrasounds, my hcg is decreasing and we believe I am about to have a miscarriage.

It’s been over $2500 since less than a month ago. That’s not counting the ultrasound, visit, and tests I still have to do.

I wanted a d&c; because I don’t want to see what were going to be my twins passing. But I can’t afford.

On top of dealing with the emotional side of a miscarriage, I’m now incredibly stressed by finances. We had budgeted for the upcoming year not expecting to blow so much of it in leas than a month. We weren’t prepared for this at all.

Anyone in the same boat?
